Technical Steps Leading to the Conclusion of the Purchase Agreement
The following technical steps are available to the user (buyer) in the purchase process:
- Logging into the online store using an email address, browsing for specific products;
- Selecting a product to purchase;
- Adding the selected product to the shopping cart;
- Setting the desired quantity in the cart;
- Reviewing the price for the selected quantity, including tax if applicable;
- Selecting the delivery method;
- Selecting the payment method;
- Reviewing the order, delivery method, and any applicable delivery costs;
- Being informed that submitting the order entails an obligation to pay;
- Confirming and submitting the order, thereby completing the purchase.
Technological Tools for Detecting and Correcting Errors Before Order Submission
Before submitting an order, the user (buyer) can easily and immediately:
- View and review selected products in the cart;
- View the price of each product and the total for selected quantities;
- Change the quantity and recalculate the new price;
- Remove unwanted products from the cart;
- Calculate the applicable tax based on the product’s price and tax rate.
Before confirming the order, the user can also:
- Change the selected delivery method;
- Change the selected payment method;
- Review and confirm any changes made to the order.
By final confirmation, the buyer agrees to the purchase terms and commits to payment.
ORDER EXECUTION OR REJECTION
FIDA Sports d.o.o. will start processing accepted orders as soon as possible and will notify you via email.
Orders not compliant with these terms, or submitted with improper use of commercial terms or electronic data exchange, will be canceled. FIDA Sports d.o.o. may reject orders it deems unfulfillable under these conditions.
CLAIMS UPON DELIVERY
If the number of delivered items does not match the invoice or if the goods were damaged during transport, contact the delivery service.
If you suspect damage, inspect the package immediately in the presence of the courier. Later claims are rarely accepted. Note any damage in a report and have the courier sign it. A photo is also recommended.
INVOICE REJECTIONS AND CHANGES
Please ensure all billing information is correct before placing your order. VAT-registered entities must enter details before confirming the order. After 8 days from delivery, invoice changes or re-issuing to another name/address are not possible. Valid requests will result in cancellation of the original order and issuance of a new one.
PRODUCT RETURNS – WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTRACT
Under consumer protection law, individuals have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days by sending written notice to FIDA Sports d.o.o., Pod gonjami 54, 2391 Prevalje. The goods must then be returned within another 14 days. If returned without prior notice, include a completed return form. Return alone does not count as withdrawal.
Include a copy of the invoice and a correctly filled-out return form. Products must be unused, undamaged, in original packaging, and returned in full quantity. If products were used or opened, the right to withdraw may be lost. Do not send items COD; we will not accept them.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Customized products made to the consumer’s specifications (e.g., custom skis or balls).
Refunds will be issued within 14 days to your specified account. Costs borne by the buyer include return shipping and any compensation for reduced value:
- At least 15% if packaging is damaged/incomplete;
- At least 25% if the item shows signs of use or damage not reported immediately.
Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to legal or business entities.
COMPLAINTS
If you receive a defective product and wish to return it, it must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Include the invoice. If not included, we will request it via email or post. The return date is considered the day we receive both the item and documentation. If not received within 7 days of our notice, the item will be returned at your expense.
The same applies to company or legal entity purchases. No COD returns will be accepted. You will be informed of the result within 8 days.
WARRANTY
All products include a manufacturer/importer warranty. The warranty is valid only with the original invoice.
The warranty is void in cases of:
- Improper use, neglect, mechanical damage, or force majeure;
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications;
- Use of non-original parts or accessories;
- Damage by third parties;
- Incorrect operation or careless handling.
MATERIAL DEFECTS
If the product lacked essential qualities at purchase, as defined by consumer law, and you notify us within 2 months of discovering the defect, you may request:
- Free repair of the defect;
- A proportionate refund;
- Replacement with a flawless product;
- A full refund.
Include the invoice with the returned product for inspection. No COD packages accepted. We will respond within 8 days.

The European Commission offers an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for consumers and traders for cross-border or domestic online purchases:

In accordance with the law, FIDA Sports d.o.o. does not recognize any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as competent for resolving consumer disputes that may be initiated under the Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes Act.

Complaints and Warranty
Complaints Upon Receiving the Shipment
If you have received an incorrect number of ordered products differing from the quantity on the delivery documents, or if the goods were damaged during transport, please contact the delivery service that handled your shipment.
If you suspect that the shipment was damaged during delivery, inspect the received goods immediately in the presence of the courier. Later complaints regarding damage or received quantity are rarely accepted by carriers and cannot be resolved or considered by our company. Record any damage in a written report, which the courier must sign. It is also recommended to photograph the damage.
Invoice Rejections and Changes
Please ensure that all invoice details are correct before placing your order. If you are a VAT-registered entity, enter this information before submitting your order. Later changes to invoices can be time-consuming or even impossible. It is not possible to reject an invoice and request a new one under a different name/address after eight (8) days from receiving the goods. All valid and rule-compliant requests for invoice address changes will be handled by canceling the original order and issuing a new invoice to the new recipient.
Product Returns – Withdrawal from the Contract
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the product by sending a written notice to: FIDA Sports d.o.o., Pod gonjami 54, 2391 Prevalje. No explanation for the withdrawal is required. Once a consumer sends notice of withdrawal, they must return the received goods within 14 days. If returning goods without prior notice, you must include a written withdrawal statement or a completed Return Form; returning the product alone does not count as withdrawal.
Please include a copy of the invoice and a correctly completed return form to ensure the fastest processing.
The returned goods must be undamaged and in the original quantity, unless the damage, spoilage, loss, or quantity reduction occurred without the buyer’s fault. If you begin using the products and then change your mind, the right of withdrawal is lost. Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. We recommend that you do not open products if the color, size, or other characteristics are not as expected. If you do open the packaging, be careful not to damage it and retain the full packaging and protective materials for at least six months after delivery to minimize return costs. Note that you are responsible for any reduction in the product’s value due to handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
We do not accept return shipments sent with cash on delivery (COD).
The buyer cannot return goods under the following conditions:
- If the product was made to the consumer’s specifications or personalized (e.g., custom-made skis or balls).
The refund will be made as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after withdrawal, to the account specified in your return. The buyer bears the cost of return shipping and, in case the returned goods are not undamaged or in the original quantity, a compensation fee, assessed upon return:
- At least 15% of the product’s value if the original packaging is damaged or incomplete.
- At least 25% of the purchase value if there are visible signs of use (minor damage or modifications). The compensation could be higher if there are serious scratches or defects. Damage not reported immediately after delivery and before removing protective films is not considered a manufacturer’s defect!
Note:
If the order is made by a legal or natural person conducting a for-profit activity, regardless of legal status or ownership, this chapter does not apply to them.
The company may withhold a refund until it receives the returned goods or until the consumer provides proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Complaints
If there is a serious issue with the received product and you want to return it, send it back to us unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Otherwise, we may deduct an appropriate compensation fee, assessed upon return. A copy of the invoice must be included. If not, we will contact you by email or mail to provide the missing documentation. The return date is the day we receive both the item and complete documentation. If the required documentation is not delivered within 7 days of our notice, the product will be returned to you at your expense.
These rules also apply to purchases by companies and other legal entities.
We do not accept COD shipments. Your complaint will be reviewed, and you will be informed of the outcome and next steps within 8 days.
Warranty
All products come with a warranty from the manufacturer or importer. The warranty is valid only with the original invoice!
The warranty is void if:
- The defect was caused by improper use, careless handling, mechanical damage, or force majeure.
- An unauthorized person tampered with the product, or any modifications were made without our written permission.
- Changes were made to the product.
- Non-original components or accessories were used.
- The product was damaged by a third party.
- Improper use or negligent handling caused the damage.
Material Defects
If you believe the product did not have the essential qualities necessary for normal use at the time of purchase—as defined by the Consumer Protection Act—and notify us properly within two months of discovering the defect, you may request that we:
- Fix the defect free of charge;
- Provide a partial refund proportional to the defect;
- Replace the product with a flawless one;
- Refund the full purchase price.
Please return the item for inspection, including the invoice to speed up the process.
We do not accept COD shipments.
If the defect is not disputed, your request will be fulfilled within 8 days of receiving the product. If the defect is disputed, you will be notified in writing within 8 days of receiving the item.
Material defect claims can be made within two years from the date of receiving the product.
