In 1982, we opened a ski service shop in Prevalje, and in 1990, we expanded our offer with a small sports equipment store. In the following years, we began supplying schools, sports associations, and clubs throughout Slovenia.

Between 1998 and 2005, we collaborated with the Ministry of Education and Sport and the Sports Institute of Slovenia. We were the official sponsor of school volleyball competitions for primary schools and the supplier of balls for other school sports competitions.

The FIDA brand was established with its first sports products being balls. In the following years, many new items were added to the range: alpine skis, badminton rackets and equipment, training accessories, athletic and gymnastic equipment, floorball equipment and more.

In 2009 synthetic ice rinks FIDAice were added to the FIDA sports equipment collection. We were among the first in the world to begin selling synthetic ice rinks that require no frost, water, or electricity to operate. FIDAice skating surfaces enable skating in all seasons irrespective of the weather - 365 days a year – anytime, anywhere. FIDAice rinks are fully developed and manufactured in Slovenia.

In 2010, we became the official supplier for mini handball at the European Handball Federation (EHF). As a result, FIDA soft handballs began to be used in EHF member countries.

In 2011, we became the official ski supplier for the Slovenian Demo Ski Team under the Ski Association of Slovenia.

We resumed our collaboration with the Sports Institute of Slovenia, making FIDA balls once again the official balls for school sports competitions in primary and secondary schools.

From 2014 to 2017, we collaborated with the European Minifootball Federation, supplying footballs to numerous countries. The FIDA football also became the official ball of the Slovenian national minifootball team.

From 2015 to 2017, we collaborated with the European Footgolf Federation and, in cooperation with footgolf players from various European countries, developed different models of the footgolf ball.

In 2017, we expanded the FIDA sports products range with equipment for outdoor sports courts and locker rooms, thus beginning to offer renovation and construction services for sports courts and sports halls.
